The Benefits Which a Believer Can Attain in the Hereafter Due To Having Taqwaa

From the book:
The Benefits of Fearing Allah -formerly titled - From the Fruits of Taqwaa
By: Shaykh Muhammad ibn Saalih Al-Uthaymeen

This book, the English translation of Min Thamaraatit-Taqwaa Clearly illustrates the excellence of the muttaqee and shows that when taqwaa affects the soul then changes should become apparent in the believer’s character, priorities and even his voice!

1. Indeed it causes a believer to become noble in the sight of Allah.

Allah, the Most High says:

 Åöäøó ÃóßúÑóãóßõãú ÚöäÏó Çááøóåö ÃóÊúÞóÇßõãú

Verily, the most honourable of you with Allâh is that (believer) who has At-Taqwa
[Al-Hujurat 49:13]

2. It causes a believer to become successful.

Allah, the Most High says,

,
æóãóä íõØöÚö Çááøóåó æóÑóÓõæáóåõ æóíóÎúÔó Çááøóåó æóíóÊøóÞúåö ÝóÃõæúáóÆößó åõãõ ÇáúÝóÇÆöÒõæäó

And whosoever obeys Allâh and His Messenger (SAW), fears Allâh, and keeps his duty (to Him), such are the successful ones.
[An-Nur 24:52]

3. Indeed it causes a believer to be saved from the punishment of Allah, the Most High on The Day of Judgement.

Allah, the Most High says,

,æóÅöä ãøöäßõãú ÅöáøóÇ æóÇÑöÏõåóÇ ßóÇäó Úóáóì ÑóÈøößó ÍóÊúãðÇ ãøóÞúÖöíøðÇËõãøó äõäóÌøöí ÇáøóÐöíäó ÇÊøóÞóæÇ æøóäóÐóÑõ ÇáÙøóÇáöãöíäó ÝöíåóÇ ÌöËöíøðÇ

There is not one of you but will pass over it (Hell); this is with your Lord; a Decree which must be accomplished.
Then We shall save those who use to fear Allâh and were dutiful to Him. And We shall leave the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrongdoers, etc.) therein (humbled) to their knees (in Hell). [Maryam 19: 71-72]

æóÓóíõÌóäøóÈõåóÇ ÇáúÃóÊúÞóì

And Al-Muttaqûn will be far removed from it (Hell).
[Al-Lail 92:17]

4. Indeed it causes a believer's good deeds to be accepted.

Allah says,

 ÅöäøóãóÇ íóÊóÞóÈøóáõ Çááøåõ ãöäó ÇáúãõÊøóÞöíäó

"Verily, Allâh accepts only from those who are Al-Muttaqûn"
[Al-Ma'idah 5:27]

5. It causes a believer to inherit Paradise.

The Most High says,

,Êöáúßó ÇáúÌóäøóÉõ ÇáøóÊöí äõæÑöËõ ãöäú ÚöÈóÇÏöäóÇ ãóä ßóÇäó ÊóÞöíøðÇ

Such is the Paradise which We shall give as an inheritance to those of Our slaves who have been Al-Muttaqûn
[Maryam 19:63]

6. It causes a believer to have lofty rooms (in Paradise) one above the other.

Allah the Most High says,

,áóßöäö ÇáøóÐöíäó ÇÊøóÞóæúÇ ÑóÈøóåõãú áóåõãú ÛõÑóÝñ ãøöä ÝóæúÞöåóÇ ÛõÑóÝñ ãøóÈúäöíøóÉñ ÊóÌúÑöí ãöä ÊóÍúÊöåóÇ ÇáúÃóäúåóÇÑõ æóÚúÏó Çááøóåö áóÇ íõÎúáöÝõ Çááøóåõ ÇáúãöíÚóÇÏó

But those who fear Allâh and keep their duty to their Lord (Allâh), for them are built lofty rooms; one above another under which rivers flow (i.e. Paradise). (This is) the Promise of Allâh: and Allâh does not fail in (His) Promise.
[Az-Zumar 39:20]

There is a hadith that says: Indeed in Paradise, there are rooms whose front can be seen from their back and whose back can be seen from their front (meaning they will be transparent). Then a bedouin asked: "To whom does it belong O Messenger of Allah?" He (sallallahu alaihi wa salaam) said to him, "He who has pleasant speech, feeds the needy, and prays the night prayer, while people are sleeping." [Sunnan at-Tirmidhi]

7. Indeed it causes the believers to have a high status above the disbelievers on the Day of Judgement, and they will dwell in the highest part of Paradise.

The Most High says,

,Òõíøöäó áöáøóÐöíäó ßóÝóÑõæÇú ÇáúÍóíóÇÉõ ÇáÏøõäúíóÇ æóíóÓúÎóÑõæäó ãöäó ÇáøóÐöíäó ÂãóäõæÇú æóÇáøóÐöíäó ÇÊøóÞóæÇú ÝóæúÞóåõãú íóæúãó ÇáúÞöíóÇãóÉö æóÇááøåõ íóÑúÒõÞõ ãóä íóÔóÇÁ ÈöÛóíúÑö ÍöÓóÇÈò

Beautified is the life of this world for those who disbelieve, and they mock at those who believe. But those who obey Allâh's Orders and keep away from what He has forbidden, will be above them on the Day of Resurrection. And Allâh gives (of His Bounty, Blessings, Favours, Honours, etc. on the Day of Resurrection) to whom He wills without limit.
[Al-Baqarah 2:212]

8. It causes them to enter Paradise, and that is because Paradise has been prepared for those who have Taqwaa.

Allah, the Most High says,

,æóÓóÇÑöÚõæÇú Åöáóì ãóÛúÝöÑóÉò ãøöä ÑøóÈøößõãú æóÌóäøóÉò ÚóÑúÖõåóÇ ÇáÓøóãóÇæóÇÊõ æóÇáÃóÑúÖõ ÃõÚöÏøóÊú áöáúãõÊøóÞöíäó

And march forth in the way (which leads to) forgiveness from your Lord, and for Paradise as wide as are the heavens and the earth, prepared for Al-Muttaqûn
[Aali Imran 3:133]

æóáóæú Ãóäøó Ãóåúáó ÇáúßöÊóÇÈ
ÂãóäõæÇú æóÇÊøóÞóæúÇú áóßóÝøóÑúäóÇ Úóäúåõãú ÓóíøöÆóÇÊöåöãú æóáÃÏúÎóáúäóÇåõãú ÌóäøóÇÊö ÇáäøóÚöíãö

And if only the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) had believed (in Muhammad ) and warded off evil (sin, ascribing partners to Allâh) and had become AlMuttaqûn We would indeed have blotted out their sins and admitted them to Gardens of pleasure (in Paradise).
 [Al-Ma'idah 5:65]

9. It causes remission of bad deeds and forgiveness for the mistakes a believer might commit.

Allah says,

,æóãóä íóÊøóÞö Çááøóåó íõßóÝøöÑú Úóäúåõ ÓóíøöÆóÇÊöåö æóíõÚúÙöãú áóåõÃóÌúÑðÇ

And whosoever fears Allâh and keeps his duty to Him, He will remit his sins from him, and will enlarge his reward.
[At-Talaq 65:5]

æóáóæú Ãóäøó Ãóåúáó ÇáúßöÊóÇÈö ÂãóäõæÇú æóÇÊøóÞóæúÇú áóßóÝøóÑúäóÇ Úóäúåõãú ÓóíøöÆóÇÊöåöãú æóáÃÏúÎóáúäóÇåõãú ÌóäøóÇÊö ÇáäøóÚöíãö

10. It causes a believer to have what his heart desires, and what is pleasing to his eyes.

Allah, the Most High says,

,ÌóäøóÇÊõ ÚóÏúäò íóÏúÎõáõæäóåóÇ ÊóÌúÑöí ãöä ÊóÍúÊöåóÇ ÇáÃóäúåóÇÑõ áóåõãú ÝöíåóÇ ãóÇ íóÔóÂÄõæäó ßóÐóáößó íóÌúÒöí Çááøåõ ÇáúãõÊøóÞöíäó

'Adn (Eden) Paradise (Gardens of Eternity) which they will enter, under which rivers flow, they will have therein all that they wish. Thus Allâh rewards the Muttaqûn
 [An-Nahl 16:31]

And there were many more listed.....This has been taken from the publication by Al-Hidaayah 1998. I recommend the newer publication of the book by Daar us Sunnah which can be found at:
